James P. Ehrhard

James P. Ehrhard is the owner and manager of Ehrhard & Associates, P.C. He concentrates his practice in bankruptcy and general litigation. Before managing the firm, Mr. Ehrhard concentrated on insurance and corporate defense litigation together with plaintiffs' trial work. He has handled cases in federal and state courts throughout Massachusetts.

Mr. Ehrhard received his B.A. from the University of Chicago and his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School. He has served as a faculty member for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education and has frequently lectured to professional groups. His writings have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Boston Herald, Worcester Telegram & Gazette and Springfield Republican, among other publications.

Boston Magazine and Law & Politics selected Mr. Ehrhard as a New England Rising Star for bankruptcy representation in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

Patricia J. Cantara

Patricia J. Cantara is an at Ehrhard & Associates, P.C., where she concentrates her focus on criminal defense.

Ms. Cantara received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Nichols College in 1991, with a double concentration in Accounting and Finance, and her Master of Business Administration from Nichols College in 1993. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Western New England College School of Law. She also completed additional studies in Health Care Administration at Clark University and in Criminal Justice through the Massachusetts Criminal Justice Council.

Prior to joining Ehrhard & Associates, P.C., Ms. Cantara acquired more than ten years of business experience in the health care industry, most recently as a Senior Director for Fallon Clinic. She also has nearly ten years of experience in the banking industry and several years of experience as a part-time law enforcement officer.

Attorney Ehrhard serves the firm as Of Counsel and brings broad experience in civil practice, business law, labor relations, bankruptcy, estate planning, appeals and related matters.
